Basic Purpose:
The DBA will be responsible for the design, implementation, configuration and maintenance of various databases support of Zain business applications
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
-Reports to Infrastructure Manager
- Managing Scheduled database processes supporting automated file transfer
- Creates and maintains good technical documentation
- Working with integrated project teams on projects such as large- scale modifications and new product release
- Creating, testing and documenting custom stored procedure
- Using SQL profiler or comparable utilities to monitor server & query process to assess and optimise databases
Competencies & Qualifications:
- A University degree/advanced diloma in ICT related field
- Certified Oracle or MS SQL DBA
- More that 2 years experience at a senior level in related field
- Good interpersonal Skills
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Influencing & Persuading: communicating information in a manner that gains agreement
- Work standards: setting high goals of performance for oneself
